ORC Europeans is proud to partner up with Viking Line as the official travel partner of the event! Daily ferry traffic from Helsinki, Turku and Stockholm brings everyone participating to the ORC Europeans 2024 to Åland with a travel discount up to -25 %.

Viking Line is a market-leading brand in passenger traffic on the northern Baltic Sea. It offers passenger services, recreation and cargo carrier services on it’s vessels Viking Grace, Gabriella, Viking Cinderella, Viking XPRS and on the new flagship Viking Glory.

Through strong commitment and concrete measures to reduce its climate impact, Viking Line has become a leading player in the field of sustainable tourism. Viking Line is passionate about climate-smart travel and is constantly seeking for new solutions that produce environmental benefits and reduced emissions, such as by running Viking Glory and Viking Grace on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and using our food waste as a raw material for biofuel.

For sustainable travel

“The Baltic Sea and its archipelagos hold special importance for us at Viking Line. Our roots are here, and many of our employees live along its shores. We are passionate about climate-smart travel and new solutions that produce environmental benefits. Reduced emissions, reduced food waste, new technology and clever choices in our everyday lives are good for the Baltic Sea.

Our sustainability journey began back in the 1980s and the sustainable choices are a part of all our daily operations. We are actively working to reduce emissions, such as by running our two newest vessels Viking Glory and Viking Grace on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and using our food waste as a raw material for biofuel. We also offer you as a customer to contribute by buying biofuel that matches your emissions. In turn, this will allow us to increase the purchase of biofuel for carbon-neutral journeys.”
